Current international law recognizes that there is a great deal of conflict happening in the world today, given that armed forces can be used in certain situations.
From the big international disputes to the conflicts of everyday life, the role of the legal system now seems to be weak.
In light of this, the DPCW was drafted with the aim of expressing the voices of all those who long for peace while calling for US efforts to implement the principles of the Declaration of Peace.
The HWPL Peace Committee for International Law drafted a document.
"The Red Cross, Médecins Sans Frontières and now the HWPL are powered by women and youth who are facing conflict and suffering, and the declaration of HWPL is led by civil society.
- Dr. Fathi Kemicha, Member of the ICCA Governing Board and mediator of the peace committee meetings
It also reaffirms, strengthens and elaborates existing international rules for renunciation of war and other international armed conflict.
"The HWPL International Law Peace Committee has worked on drafting a declaration for the termination of war and peace and reminds us of important principles of international law, basic human rights and religious freedom related to the prohibition of use of force in international law. Proclamation of the Declaration is like reminding people all over the world that international law can promote a peace settlement of disputes and a world free from war and armed conflict. "
- Narinder Singh (UN Committee on International Law) Member of the UN international Law Commission
"DPCW (Declaration of peace and cease of war) is regarded as the culmination of all international conventions and treaties to which the Palestinian state has joined and committed, and we will be able to stop this war and give up all conflicts and achieve peace."
- H.E. Ali Abu Dhik, Minister of Justice of the The State Palestine.
"I am aware of the values and visions set forth in the declaration of peace and war to be presented by the President of Sri Lanka as legal counsel, and I have expressed my hope that friends of the community will support this peace movement by advocating a declaration to be included in all national laws .
- Mr. Nachiket Anil Dave, Lawyer of Supreme Court of India
"Particularly in this DPCW I support a number of arguments and wars arising from religious reasons,9. We all recognize that there is a threat to peaceful coexistence that violent religious extremism can bring about, You must take strong legal action against any group or group.
- Ms. Parvati Nirban, actress and regression therapist
War has always occurred in our time. But war has always occurred without the time to think whether war was necessary for the survival of mankind. Now we are at the point of stopping the war for the survival of our entire humanity. The nucleus will destroy our humanity on earth as if it were really dusty. In the distant future, the earth will be left in ruins.
Whatever we lived for, our earth is a trail of life we have lived, and our hopes, happiness, success, glory, honor, love, wealth, family, and friends have all disappeared. How sad would it be if we were to disappear from the earth with our own fatal mistakes?
It is not late yet. Opportunity is still there. Let's all try to make a true effort to stop the war and make peace again.
We invite you to 9.18 WARP in KOREA
